Overview

Naresuan University in Thailand is offering the 2026 Naresuan University Thailand Scholarship for international students from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. The scholarship supports Master’s degree programmes across 54 fields of study and provides financial support of USD 14,300 for one recipient.

Successful applicants will be announced between May 11–22, 2026. The first semester begins on June 22, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the program which they are applying for. The degree must be from an accredited academic institution.
  • Grade point average of 3.00/4.00 or higher
  • English Proficiency Test: Applicant must hold a minimum score of English proficiency from TOEFL iBT or IELTS or other accepted tests as shown in the following table. The certificate(s) must be from a test that took place no more than 2 years up until the date of application.

  • Each applicant can apply for only one program and one university. The selection will be made by the university appointed committee. Please see the attachment for essential details about the study programs and terms and conditions of the universities in which you are interested before you apply.
Required Documents:

  • A certified copy of the certificate of a Bachelor’s degree
  • A certified copy of the official closed transcript which must include academic records for all semesters of your completed course of study.
  • Two letters of recommendation (in an official institutional letterhead) written by faculty members of the home university
  • A certified copy of the passport (bearer’s page)
  • A certified copy of a certificate of English Proficiency Test: The certificates must be from a test that took place no more than 2 years up until the date of application.
  • A one-page Statement of Purpose
  • A medical examination certificate dated no longer than 6 months
  • Certificate of Employment (if any)
  • Resume/ CV
  • A Concept research paper or research proposal
